HOUSTON (KTRK) — The secret service and FBI are investigating a threatening cartoon sent to Houston Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. According to the Houston Chronicle, the cartoon contained racial slurs and showed nooses and lynching posts for Jackson Lee and President Obama. The drawing was faxed to the White House and Jackson Lee’s Houston office. The fax arrived a day after the congresswoman suggested Republicans were being disrespectful of president during debt negotiations because of his race.
