Email Fax

I just got a printer/fax/copier/scanner. I hooked it into my phone line and it appears to work SENDING faxes, BUT what if I wanted to RECIEVE faxes? I have never really used a fax machine more than twice in my life. I have internet (DSL) with filters and just one phone number/line.

Okay done. The splitter is connected to the wall with the phone line on the phone side and dsl on the other. Which line connects to the fax machine? Elementary I know, but I have to start somewhere.
